Giveaway Winner and More "New Favorites"

I picked a winner for the Weight Watchers Cookbook giveaway, but it's taken me a few days to let you guys know who the winner is!

There were 28 entries, and the winner is.....

Sam (From the Blog Momma on a Mission)

Sam - Click here to send me an email with your address so that I can send you your new cookbook!  Thank you to all who participated!  I'm going to try to do more of these in the future!

NEW FAVORITES
Since I started this blog, I've been talking about the importance of adding in "new favorites" into your repertoire.  For me, a new favorite is a meal/snack that replaces old favorites that may be way out of an appropriate calorie range while being equally delicious!

Here's a few of my recent faves:

Thomas 100 Calorie Everything Bagel Thins with a wedge of Laughing Cow Light Garlic and Herb Cheese
Jennie O - So Easy Turkey Meatloaf - - It cooks in 8 minutes in the microwave and serves 3
Green Beans roasted in the oven for about 30 minutes with Pam Olive Oil Cooking Spray
Subway's Veggie Delite Toasted on Wheat with Pepper Jack
(My go-to lunch these days)
Craving Pepperoni Pizza?  How about a Lean Cuisine Pepperoni French Bread Pizza
(Volumized with some diced onions and crushed red pepper flakes)

I started slicing it like this and it fools me that it's HUGE with a million pieces.  I love a good mind game.
What new products/meals have you tried lately that you just love?  Inquiring minds want to know....

Yay!! I am so excited =) I sent you an email. Thanks again! ... So is the Jennie-O meatloaf really good? Meatloaf is one of my favorite things to eat but if I could save some time by making me own then I am all for that!

I didn't know that 100 calorie bagels existed. I really adore the sandwich thins, but I bet a sandwich made with the bagel thin would be even better. I like the chewy, yet soft part of the bagel. I will be giving those a try! Laughing Cow is the bomb! So versatile!

@Sam - The Meatloaf is a good quick meatloaf, but I guarantee the homemade kind is better. It's pretty much just meat with a sauce on it where my homemade usually has onions, etc inside for extra flavor. Just my two cents. Speaking of which... I have a meatloaf recipe I need to make and share! :)

@Miss April - The bagels are yummy! Made by Thomas... check them out! They end up being less chewy because they're thin and crisp up. Still totally good though!

@Getting Back - I did it with an English Muffin this morning, and I may be in love. The Thomas 100 Calorie Multigrain ones... yum-o!

I love the mind games!!! You know what I like to do? I will top basically any thing with a pile of baby carrots. Then I eat them all first, and because they're so crunchy they are slow to eat. And then by the time I finish them, I'm not STARVING, but I still have a full meal to go!

Better N Peanut Butter is new to the Brasch house! I saw it in a magazine and thought we'd give it a try since we all love peanut butter.

This stuff is AMAZING! It is only 1 WW Point per tbsp. The twins and I just had some with an apple. :)
